1. About us and these terms

These terms apply to all orders placed through edencanvas.com. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
2. Placing an order
When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms we have received your order; a contract is formed when we begin production of your item. We may decline an order — for example where personalisation content breaches section 4, where a product is unavailable, or where there is an obvious pricing error — in which case you will receive a full refund of any payment taken.
Please check your personalisation details (spellings, names, dates, photo choice) carefully before ordering. We produce exactly what you submit, and we cannot accept responsibility for errors in the details you provide. If you spot a mistake, contact us as soon as possible — if production has not started, we will do our best to correct it.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is free on all UK orders unless otherwise stated at checkout. Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering, processed securely by our payment providers. We do not store your full card details.
4. Personalisation content you provide
By uploading photographs or submitting text for personalisation, you confirm that:
- You own the content or have permission from the owner to use it;
- Where photographs include other people, you have their permission (or, for children, the permission of a parent or guardian);
- The content is not offensive, unlawful, defamatory, or infringing of any third party’s rights.
We reserve the right to refuse any order containing content we reasonably consider inappropriate or unlawful, with a full refund. You retain ownership of your content; you grant us a licence to use it solely for the purpose of producing and fulfilling your order.
5. Production and delivery
Most orders are produced and dispatched within 1–2 working days, though this may be longer during busy periods — any current production timescales shown on the website at the time of ordering take precedence. Delivery is by tracked service to the address you provide. Estimated delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Please ensure your delivery address is correct. We cannot be responsible for orders delivered to an incorrectly supplied address.
6. Cancellations and returns — personalised items
Important: under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the usual 14-day right to cancel an online order does not apply to goods that are made to your specification or clearly personalised. Because almost all of our products are made specifically for you — featuring your photos, names, messages or dates — they cannot be cancelled once production has begun, and cannot be returned simply because of a change of mind.
This does not affect your rights in respect of faulty or incorrect items (section 7). If you contact us before production has started, we will always try to accommodate a cancellation or change.

7. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, our products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or different from what you ordered (including any personalisation error on our part), contact us at hello@edencanvas.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photographs of the issue, and we will offer a replacement or a full refund — whichever you prefer. We may ask you to return the faulty item, in which case we will cover reasonable return postage.
8. Product appearance
Our products are individually made, often from natural materials such as wood and slate. Small variations in grain, tone and finish are characteristics of these materials, not defects. Colours may also appear slightly differently on screen than in the finished product. Engraving and print results depend in part on the quality and resolution of the photograph you supply.
9. Our liability
If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach, up to the value of your order. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
10. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including our designs, product templates, images and text — is owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied or reused without our permission, except your own uploaded content as described in section 4.
11. General
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales (or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings there).
